Upper Peninsula Not Kind to Northwood
The Timberwolves proceeded to make it an 0-4 trip across the Mackinac Bridge with losses by both the women (70-50) and men (100-79) against Northern Michigan.

Kicking off their first trip to the Upper Peninsula this season, Northwood was not able to get a victory in either matchup as the women fell 72-62 and the men lost 83-72.

Northwood opened strong and lead throughout in a convincing 81-56 victory over Ferris State. Five players scored in double figures for Timberwolves. The men fell 91-59 in the second half of the doubleheader.
Lady Timberwolves Now .500 in GLIAC, Men Fall to GVSU
Thanks to Lindsay Orwat tying her career-high of 19 points, the Northwood women improved to 4-4 in the GLIAC with a 60-53 over Grand Valley State. The men fell 93-78 in the nightcap.
Northwood Women Earn Win, Men Fall in OT
Powered by a double-double from Jordyn Nurenberg (19 points, 13 rebounds), along with 19 points from Lindsay Orwat and Maddy Seeley’s 12 points led the Northwood women to a 71-61 victory over Hillsdale. The men fell 85-75 in OT.
Split at Home for Northwood Before Holiday Break
After the Northwood women’s basketball team dropped a heartbreaker in overtime to Lake Erie, the men earned a split for the Timberwolves program on Saturday. The team’s are now on a break for the holidays.
