With some highlight-reel jams intertwined, the first “Hill vs High” game of the season saw the Saginaw High Trojans earn a 59-49 victory over Arthur Hill. Big man Henry Speight led all scorers with 23 points.
Thanks to Lindsay Orwat tying her career-high of 19 points, the Northwood women improved to 4-4 in the GLIAC with a 60-53 over Grand Valley State. The men fell 93-78 in the nightcap.
