With some highlight-reel jams intertwined, the first “Hill vs High” game of the season saw the Saginaw High Trojans earn a 59-49 victory over Arthur Hill. Big man Henry Speight led all scorers with 23 points.

Powered by 21 points from point guard Trevor Davis, the Dow Chargers held serve on their home court as they beat Lapeer 71-55. The Lightning did get 17 points from standout guard Drew Knickerbocker.

Northwood Women Earn Win, Men Fall in OT

Powered by a double-double from Jordyn Nurenberg (19 points, 13 rebounds), along with 19 points from Lindsay Orwat and Maddy Seeley’s 12 points led the Northwood women to a 71-61 victory over Hillsdale. The men fell 85-75 in OT.
