Make it three wins in a row for the Northwood women as they downed the Cardinals 65-62. But, the men dropped their contest 74-64 to split the four-game season series between both programs in half.
Three players scored in double figures for Northwood, led by Jordyn Nurenberg with 16 points, as the Timberwolves made it back-to-back wins with a 66-61 victory. The men dropped their contest 77-68.

The Northwood women fell to visitors Grand Valley St. 73-52, while the men lost their fourth game in a row 94-83 at the hands of the Lakers.

NMU missed a shot as time expired and the Northwood women held on for a 55-53 win inside Riepma Arena. The Wildcats were too much for the Timberwolves dispatching the Northwood men 79-62.
Four players (Jordyn Nurenberg, Lindsay Orwat, Maddy Seeley, Hannah Orwat) scored in double figures with Nurenberg producing 18 points, 12 rebounds for his 30th career double-double.
The Northwood men made big plays down the stretch to earn dramatic 64-63 win over rival Saginaw Valley State powered by 15 points from Zach Allread. Earlier, the women fell 72-54.
Jordyn Nurenberg and Lindsay Orwat (tying career high) each scored 19 points while Nurenberg added 10 rebounds for her 5th double-double of the season in the 60-49 victory over the Warriors.
